Q: What makes SIMPLR unique?

A: What makes SIMPLR different from other after-school STEM/STEAM/Engineering programs is that our goal is to get students to focus on the technologies that will drive the future. At SIMPLR, our students are exposed to cutting edge principles and emerging technologies (e.g., AI, VR, AR, 3D printing, drone technology and more). Our aim is for your child to have a larger framework for what can be accomplished with these newer technologies. Rather than be passive consumers of future technology, our goal is for your child to be active creators of the next frontier. Please also check out our learning matrix, which features all of the topics that will impact our society.

Q: What will my child learn?

A: Our motto is “Learn. Build. Play,” which means that your child will learn the science/engineering behind a particular concept in Week 1. From there, your child will engage in several hands-on activities that allow them to build and learn with the technologies they engage with. Through our Level K & Level 1 classes, your child will be exposed to all of the future technologies that will drive the 21st C. and beyond. Our classes are designed to help your child move from curious to creative as he/she moves through our learning matrix. Your child will also receive a binder and weekly handouts to allow for further learning and discussion.

Q: How will I know if my child will enjoy taking classes at SIMPLR?

A: Though we are unable to offer “previews” of our Level 1 and Level 2 classes, our Open Labs can serve as a great entry point. Open Lab is held every Friday from 5pm-7pm and during this time, your child can explore any of our tech gadgets to see some of what’s possible.

Q: How are your classes/sessions organized?

A: Our Level 1 classes are designed to cover a project over the course of 4 weeks building on our “Learn. Build. Play” motto. Students in Level K classes are exposed to a topic over the course of 1-2 weeks.

Q: How are payments made/structured?

A: Payment is due on a monthly basis per lab/session; each lab lasts 4 weeks. Payment is also due prior to the start of a new lab/session. Note: SIMPLR’s annual registration fee is $35 and is due upon enrollment.

Q: Who teaches at SIMPLR?

A: All of our classes are either taught by co-founder, Mr. Mo (i.e., Maurice Womack) or college students/graduates who have backgrounds in STEAM majors (i.e., science, technology, engineering, art, and math).

Q: Do you offer refunds?

A: No, we do not offer refunds; however, you can cancel at any time before a new session begins.

Q: What are your hours of operation?

A: Currently, we are open during the following days/times:
