From Curious to Creative!

The SIMPLR curriculum is designed to take children from Curious to Creative over several levels and tracks. The projects/experiences contained within each level are designed to progressively guide students towards mastery in each phase. When a child completes the entire program, he/she should be able to define, design, and develop anything (digitally and physically) that they can imagine.

Level K: Young Engineer’s Cornucopia (Kindergarten - 2nd Grade)

Level K classes introduce young engineers to the awe-inspiring technology of today. Each class is structured to teach the students about the science behind the technology and give them an opportunity to get “hands-on” with each. Designed with the young learner in mind, Level K sets a solid foundation for deeper exploration in the subsequent learning levels.

Note: Students will receive binders along with weekly hand-outs for each lab. These hand-outs will allow students to deepen their conceptual and technological knowledge and skills.

Level 1 Labs (3rd - 8th Grade)

Our goal at SIMPLR is to prepare your child for the future. That means that our classes, which we call labs, are designed to expose your child to the technologies, concepts, and ideas that will impact their lives.

Beyond the technologies, we focus on mental development using STEAM. STEAM is more than simply the content areas that make up the acronym. When children engage in "STEAM activities" they establish and increase their spatial intelligence, problem solving ability, and collaboration skills which are key in understanding and excelling in ALL aspects of life. 

Note: Students will receive binders along with weekly hand-outs for each lab. These hand-outs will allow students to deepen their conceptual and technological knowledge and skills. Students will also be able to check out related materials/equipment (e.g., drones, Rubik's cubes, hardware, etc.) and will be expected to check all materials back in at the conclusion of each lab.
